Rectifying faults

Use only original spare parts. Any damage resulting from
spare parts that are not supplied by the manufacturer is
excluded from liability.
If a fault cannot be rectified, please contact the responsible
service engineer.
If the coding card is set to 0 for more than 2 seconds when
the power supply is switched on, all module settings are
reset to their default settings. The user interface issues a
fault display.
▶ Restart the module.
The indicator shows the operating condition of the module.

Remedy
▶ Switch on the power supply.
▶ When the power supply is switched
off, replace the fuse ( Fig. 17,
page 173)
▶ Check BUS connection and repair if
required.
▶ Replace module.
▶ Set the coding card.
▶ Make shorter BUS connection
▶ The system yield is largely maintained.
Nevertheless, the fault should be
remedied when maintenance work is
next performed on the system at the
latest.

instructions and the service manual
contain further information on
troubleshooting.

serviceable must be collected separately and sent for
environmentally compatible recycling (in accordance
with the European Waste Electrical and Electronic
Equipment Directive).
To dispose of old electrical or electronic devices, you
should use the return and collection systems put in place
in the country concerned.
