When driving over uneven area mind, that the lift arm of the support frame does not begin for
hopping!
•
There is the danger that the gripping good (manhole/cone) could break apart by the tension
force (from inside).
•
It exists the danger, that the distance between gripping good (upper edge of manhole) and
lower edge of stabilizer and/or brackets becomes larger that than 15 mm.
In this case lower gripping good on the ground immediately and grip it again.
•
Transport the device (SVZ-UNI) with the gripped gripping good (manhole/cone) to the destination and
lower it carefully.
•
Relieve chain suspension/load hook at support frame (excavator), until load tie rod on device (SVZ-uni-
F) slips downward.
•
Move device lifting hook by diagonal pulling of load tie rod in position "release" (Fig. 1).
•
Bring the device (SVZ-UNI) out of the gripping good (manhole).

7.1
Maintenance
To ensure the correct function, safety and service life of the device the following points must be
executed in the maintenance interval.
Used only original spare parts, otherwise the warranty expires.
All operations may only be made in closed state of the device!
For all operations you have to make sure, that the device will not close unintended. Danger of injury!
Service interval

Maintenance work
•
Control and tighten all screws and connection.
(The implementation is only allowed by an expert).
•
Tighten all screws and connection (Take care that the tightening torques
according to the property class of the screws are observed).
•
Check all existing safety elements (such as hinged pins) for proper function
and replace defective safety elements. 1)
•
Check of all the suspension parts, bolts and straps. Check for corrosion and
safety by an expert.
•
Check all brackets for mobility, abrasion and contamination.
Worn (no longer sharp-edged) or bent brackets must be replaced!
•
Worn (no longer sharp-edged) or bent brackets must be replaced!
•
Cleaning of the device with high pressure cleaner (warm water), when dirty.
•
Lubricate and oil mobile parts (see arrows in Fig. 1, 2, 3).
•
Check screws and nuts for tightness.
