Closing light
When the closing light is activated, the lighting level is always slowly raised (regardless
of the selected lighting mode) before closing the door in the evening as ambient
brightness decreases. In this way the chickens become "conditioned" to return to the
coop in good time.
If this function is not required, it can be deactivated:

10.6.4 Potential errors and their correction
All lighting fails to function after pressing
the lighting button
• The bridging plug in the final module is not in place Insert the bridging plug.
• A lighting module is defective Separately connect each lighting module one after
the other to the control unit (with bridging plug in place) Replace the defective
module.
Display of the "Ext. light disrupt." error
• The automation system was disrupted by extraneous light (e.g. spotlights, lamps,
cars, etc.) Ensure protection from external light interference. If necessary, shade
the sensor to some extent.
10.7 Air Temperature Sensor (item 70624)
The air temperature sensor monitors the temperature in the chicken coop, and enables
temperature-dependent control of the coop ventilation (items 70625, 70626) and the
programmable intermediate socket (item 70628).
10.7.1 Installation
For the individual steps, please refer to the module's installation instructions.
10.7.2 Configuration
It is not necessary to configure the air temperature sensor. When the control unit is
restarted (interruption to power supply), the air temperature sensor is recognised
automatically.

10.8 Ventilation system (items 70625, 70626)
It is essential to avoid high levels of air humidity, condensation, and ammonia gases in
the coop interior, as well as high temperatures during summer.
The coop air extraction (item 70625) removes air contaminated with ammonia and mois-
ture, and provides effective protection against moisture damage and mould infestation.
The coop ventilation (Item 70626) ensures a secure supply of fresh air. For an optimum
coop environment, we recommend the combined use of coop air extraction (item 70625)
and coop ventilation (item 70626).
10.8.1 Installation
For the individual steps, please refer to the module's installation instructions.
10.8.2 Configuration
10.8.2.1 Interval switching
As standard, coop air extraction and coop ventilation are activated at intervals. For
this, the fans are switched on at defined intervals for a specific duration (ON time) with
selectable output.

- ON time: 1 min.
10.8.2.2 Additional modes
Night mode
In order to ensure the night-time rest of the chickens, the ventilation can be
deactivated at night. This is performed via the "At night" setting.
