7.2.2 Configuration menu:

The Configuration menu is used to define basic settings such as language, time/date,
unit of temperature, works settings, or to make module-specific settings.
The Configuration menu includes the following menu options, in chronological order:
• Language
• Units
• Time/date
• Door opening settings
• Door closing settings
• Weekend mode for door
• Door calibration mode
• Fan
• Power switch (socket)
• Food
• Lighting
• Reset
• Device ID
• Status
• Progress
• Battery
All module-specific settings are described in detail in the respective module in
section 10 "Connecting the modules".
Except for time/date, all settings are retained if the power supply is disconnected.

7.3 Resetting to works settings

If necessary, you can perform a reset to works settings. For this, in the "Reset" menu
option, set the value to "YES", and save it. The standard settings are then re-applied.
Please check these, and make changes where necessary.
IMPORTANT
• The door must be recalibrated after a reset.
For this, calibration mode is automatically instigated.
• The device ID is not deleted during a reset to works settings. If necessary, this can be
deleted separately.
7.4 Battery and solar operation
The control unit has an integrated energy saving mode for battery and solar operation.
If the battery voltage falls below a freely configurable value, this automatically
switches off the connected modules having high energy consumption. The functioning
of the door is excluded from this. This always remains active, regardless of the battery
voltage, in order to ensure reliable opening and closing of the chicken door.
