Mounting

DANGER
Before installing or removing the P60 pressure transducer, check that the line
is not under pressure.
The pressure transducer can be screw-mounted in any position. If the
transducer is used to measure dynamic pressure characteristics in liquids, it
must be installed with the pressure connection pointing upward, so that no air
cushion can build up in the transducer.
If necessary, bleed the transducer.
Notice
When tightening, apply the wrench (12 a.f.) only to the flat of the mounting
flange, not to the housing or the cable entry. The recommended tightening
torque is 18 to 20 N·m. The maximum permitted tightening torque is 25 N·m.
The transducer is sealed by an O-ring. The geometric layout of sealing points
is shown below. Ensure correct, clean installation.
