S Connect the shield of the connecting cable extensively to the shielding
housing of the electronics unit.
S Do not use the connecting cable shield for discharging potential differences
within the system. You must therefore lay sufficiently dimensioned potential
equalization lines to compensate for possible potential differences.
Important
If the transducer or its cable are exposed to high-energy transients, then the
measured value may deviate by more than 1% of the measuring range. This
deviation disappears as soon as the transients dissipate.
