Safety instructions
Use as an "accessory with a safety function" is not the intended use, and this
must be assessed by the user (within the context of the Pressure Equipment
Directive 2014/68/EC).
Correct and safe operation of this pressure transducer requires proper
transport, correct storage, installation, mounting and careful operation.
General dangers of failing to follow the safety instructions
The pressure transducer conforms to the state of the art and is safe. The
device may give rise to residual dangers if it is installed or operated by
untrained personnel.
Any person involved in setting up, starting up, operating or repairing the device
must have read and understood the operating manual and, in particular, the
technical safety instructions.
Accident prevention
Make sure the line is not under pressure when installing or removing the
pressure transducer.
Conversions and modifications
The pressure transducer must not be modified in terms of design or safety
without our express agreement. Any modification shall exclude all liability on
our part for any damage resulting therefrom.
Qualified personnel
The pressure transducer may only be installed and used by qualified
personnel, strictly in accordance with the specifications and with the safety
rules and regulations which follow. During use, compliance with the legal and
safety requirements for the relevant application is also essential. The same
applies to the use of accessories.
Qualified personnel means persons entrusted with installing, mounting, starting
up and operating the product, who possess the appropriate qualifications for
their function.
Once the pressure device has been installed, it must be tested.
