a) Replacing the rotor blades
The rotor blades may be damaged if they hit an object when they are rotating. If this occurs, the defective rotor blades
must be replaced with original spare parts.
Attention!
Do not fly the model helicopter if the rotor blades are damaged, as this may result in vibrations that cause
further damage to the model. Do not overtighten the screws on the rotor blade holders (see also Figure 6).
b) Replacing the tail propeller
You can use a screwdriver to easily lever the tail propeller
(1) off the motor shaft (2), if necessary.
When fitting the replacement propeller, pay attention to
the direction of rotation and whether the propeller is not
tilted. Proceed with due care to avoid deformation of the
motor shaft.
c) Replacing the main gear
Before changing the main gear (1), make sure you remove
the retaining screw (2) first using the included screwdriver.
Then pull the gear off the main rotor shaft (3).
When fitting the replacement gear, ensure the rotor shaft
is slightly flattened on one side. Once the gear is flush with
the rotor shaft, re-tighten the retaining screw.
d) General information
Regularly check all screw connections of your helicopter for a tight fit. All turning parts must be easily movable and
there should be no clearance in the bearing.
