e) Connecting the helicopter battery
Since the model helicopter has no power switch, it is supplied with power the moment the battery is inserted and can
be digitally connected with the transmitter. For this purpose, the model helicopter and the remote control transmitter
must be near each other. The model responds to the control commands from the transmitter only after it has been
linked to it. Therefore, be sure to follow the procedure described below.
Important!
When switching on, there must be no other 2.4 GHz transmitter in the immediate vicinity.
First use the on/off switch (see also Figure 1, no. 7) to
switch on the transmitter. The transmitter LED (see also
Figure 1, no. 12) flashes slowly.
Connect the BEC plug of the helicopter battery (see also
Figure 5, no. 6) to the BEC socket (1) of the model helicop-
ter. The right and left LEDs under the cabin cover (see also
Figure 14, no. 2) go on briefly and then begin to flicker.
Now place the helicopter on a level surface from which it
can take off.
Then move the joystick for the pitch and tail function (see
Figure 1, no. 11) up, then down and back to the middle
position. The model is digitally connected with the remote
control transmitter.
Once the connection has been successfully established,
the two helicopter LEDs (2) and the transmitter LED (12)
will glow steadily.
The model is now ready for take-off.
Important!
The internal stabilisation electronics (gyro) are
also adjusted during the linking process. There-
fore, the model should not be moved or turned
during this time.
You can easily check if the model has been correctly
linked to the transmitter before operation. To do this, move
the joystick for bob and roll functions (see Figure 1, no. 4).
The swashplate below the rotor head must then always
move in the same direction as the joystick is deflected.
To take the model out of operation, unplug the helicopter battery and then switch off the transmitter.
