20. Adjusting the hover settings

When the trim is in the middle position, the model helicopter is factory preset to perform a stable hovering flight.
If the hovering flight is not stable, it can be stabilised using the trim setting.
The helicopter must be trimmed each time the transmitter is switched on since the transmitter does not
store trim settings. To avoid doing this, you can readjust the factory presets for the hovering flight.
To do this, take off the model and hover it at eye level.
Keep the push-button for hover adjustment (see Figure 1,
no. 3) pressed until the transmitter emits a beep and the
transmitter LED (see Figure 1, no. 12) flashes quickly.
Set a stable hovering flight using the trim buttons, as
shown in Figs. 17 to 19.
Once you have selected the correct trim setting, land the
model.
Keep the push-button for hover adjustment pressed un-
til the transmitter emits a beep and the transmitter LED
glows steadily.
The trim value determined in flight is now saved as the
middle position.
Important!
Now unplug the helicopter battery and switch off the transmitter. Then switch the transmitter back on, take
off the model and run a test flight to check whether the hovering flight is stable. Readjust, if necessary.

21. Maintenance and cleaning

Clean the exterior of the model and the remote control with a soft, dry cloth or brush. Never use abrasive cleaning
agents or chemical solutions, as these may damage the surface of the housing.
