Also observe that the hinge formed at the rudder (5) must be fitted into a prepared slot and that the rudder does not
cant but runs in parallel to the rudder fin.
Also check if installation according to figure 3 is possible without problems. Ideally, the wing should be installed for this
and the tail unit aligned according to the illustration in figure 3.
If everything is perfect, the tail unit must be glued to the fuselage with 5-minute epoxy-resin glue.
Apply a little glue to the left and right of the fuselage slot. Remove the protective foil from the fuselage and push the
two parts together.
Fasten the two parts with adhesive tape until the glue cures so that the angle to the wing is complied with. Adhesive
residue must be removed at once.

b) Mounting the Elevator and Rudder Linkage Rods

Put the rudder horns of the servos at precisely 90° to the
servo casing.
Shorten the rods for elevator and rudder at the dampening
areas by twisting the clevises in or out so that the dampen-
ing surfaces are in neutral position and attach the clevises
to the rudder horns (1 and 2).
For elevators and rudders, the clevises should be attached
to the outer hole of the rudder horn for the first flights.
The correct function is explained in chapter „Checking the
Control Functions".

c) Checking the Linkage Rods at the Ailerons

The linkages of the ailerons are pre-installed ex works.
Check with the remote control activated whether the servo
rudder horn (1) is at a 90° angle to the servo housing. Also
check if the rudder horns of the linkage rods are in the
outer-most position of the rudder horns (2).
In the neutral position of aileron trimming and control le-
ver, the ailerons need to be in the neutral position as well
and end flush with the rear wing edge. If this is not the
case, their length must be adjusted by twisting the clev-
ises in or out.
The connection of the aileron servos is shown in the fol-
lowing chapter „Mounting the Wing". The correct function
is explained in the chapter „Checking the Control Func-
tions".
