c) During use
• Do not take any risks when using the product! Always use the model responsibly; otherwise, you may
endanger yourself and your surroundings.
• Improper use can cause serious injury and damage to property! Ensure that you maintain a sufficient
distance from people, animals and objects.
• Never attempt to touch the helicopter during a flight. Keep your body and hair away from rotating parts
such as rotors and gear wheels.
• Only fly the model when you are fully alert and able to respond. Fatigue, alcohol and medication can
affect your ability to respond.
• Do not fly the model towards spectators or yourself.
• Make sure to use the model outdoors only when the weather conditions are suitable. Only operate the
model when visibility is good. Visibility can significantly be impaired by gaining fog, low clouds or the
onset of twilight. Do not operate the model in darkness, snowfall or rain.
• The motors, motor controller and helicopter battery may become hot during use. For this reason, allow
the helicopter to cool down for 5-10 minutes before charging or replacing the helicopter battery.
• Always leave the remote control (transmitter) switched on when the model is in use. After landing, always
switch off the helicopter first before you switch off the remote control.
• Never switch the remote control off when the helicopter is switched on.
• Do not expose the model or the remote control to direct sunlight or excessive heat for prolonged periods.
• In the event of a severe crash (e.g. from a high altitude), the electronic gyro sensors may be damaged.
Always check that the model is functioning properly before flying it again!
• If the rotors are blocked by obstacles, switch off the rotor motors immediately. Blocked motors have
increased power consumption, which can destroy the motors and the motor controller.
• Rotating rotors can be damaged by contact with obstacles. Check the rotors for any signs of cracks or
damage before flying the model again!
• To avoid damaging the model due to a crash caused by a low voltage/total discharge of the rechargeable
battery, monitor the low voltage indicators during the flight.
