10. Using the transmitter

The numbers used in these instructions refer to the illustration alongside the text or the illustrations within
the respective section. For this reason, the same number can represent different locations and different
operating elements in different figures. Cross-references to other figures are given in the text with the cor-
responding figure number.
The figures of the remote control and the model in these operating instructions are for illustrative purposes
only. The label, design and colour scheme of the products supplied in series may differ completely from the
illustrations in this manual.
a) Inserting the batteries
The transmitter is powered by 4 Micro/AAA batteries (not included).
Important!
Use only batteries (1.5 V/cell) and do not use rechargeable batteries (1.2 V/cell) as the power supply for
the transmitter.
To insert the batteries, proceed as follows:
Remove the locking screw (1) on the battery compartment
cover with a suitable screwdriver.
Press the grooved surface of the battery compartment
cover (2) with your thumb and slide the cover off down-
wards.
Correctly insert 4 Micro/AAA batteries into the battery
compartment (3) according to instructions on its bottom.
The spiral spring contact (4) must always be connected to
the negative pole of the battery.
Then replace the battery compartment cover and push
it upwards until it clicks into place. Finally, re-tighten the
locking screw (1).
