23. Troubleshooting

This model and the remote control were built using the latest technology. However, faults and malfunction may still
occur. The following section shows you how to troubleshoot potential problems.
Problem
The transmitter does not respond.
The transmitter LED flashes and the
transmitter beeps.
Battery charging takes too long.
The helicopter LEDs flash, the model
does not respond to the transmitter.
The rotors do not start.
The helicopter does not take off.
The helicopter does not respond to the
remote control.
The helicopter rotates about the vertical
axis (rotor shaft).
The flight time is too short.
Remedy
• Check the batteries in the transmitter.
• Check the polarity of the batteries in the transmitter.
• Check the function switch.
• Replace the batteries in the transmitter.
• USB port amperage is too low.
• Replace the helicopter battery.
• Check the batteries in the transmitter.
• Check the polarity of the batteries in the transmitter.
• Check the function switch.
• Repeat the power-on procedure.
• Check the helicopter battery charge level.
• Check that the mechanical parts can move freely.
• Repeat the power on procedure.
• Check the flight battery charge level.
• Check that the mechanical drive parts can move freely.
• Check the gear.
• Check the rotor blades.
• Repeat the power on procedure.
• There is interference from other 2.4 GHz remote controls.
• Trim the model (see Figure 17).
• Repeat the power-on procedure and ensure that you do not move
or rotate the helicopter.
• Check that the tail rotor runs smoothly and functions properly.
• Calibrate the position sensors.
• Check the rotor blades.
• Recharge the helicopter battery.
• The helicopter battery is faulty.
• The mechanical parts cannot move freely.
• The rotor blades are faulty.
