16. Landing the helicopter

As with taking off the helicopter, you have two landing options.
1) Automatic landing
When the helicopter is hovering, briefly press the push-button for the landing and stop function (see also Figure 16,
no. 9). The helicopter's main rotor will then reduce its speed so that the helicopter will descend and land automatically.
While charging, the helicopter can still be controlled and the landing point can be adjusted, if necessary. After the
helicopter has landed, the rotors stop automatically. The helicopter LEDs flash as the helicopter lands automatically.
When landing the model helicopter, make sure that there is no obstacle underneath it, which it could hit while descend-
ing.
Caution, important!
Automatic landing can be cancelled at any time. All you need to do is to briefly move the joystick for the
pitch and tail function (see also Figure 16, no. 11) up as the helicopter lands. The helicopter will then no
longer descend any further but will hover at the current altitude.
2) Manual landing
Move the joystick for the pitch and tail function (see Figure 16, no. 11) down and observe the helicopter as it descends
slowly. When it is back on the landing skids, hold the joystick in the lowest position until the rotors stop.
