Centring with fl anges
Removing the PL hub
- Insert the special PL key (supplied with the machine) in the slot of the PL hub (fi g.11c);
- Completely unscrew the PL hub;
- Mount the fl ange on the shaft and lock it in place with the two screws (A, fi g.12) using
the CH 6 wrench.
- Lock the wheel onto the fl ange as usual.
Assembling the PL hub
To reassemble the PL hub, proceed as follows:
- Hold down the keyboard key
bring to the open position, the pneumatic cylinder of the clamping device PL; The mes-
sage A52 will be displayed on the monitor.
- insert the split pin (supplied with the machine) in the cylindrical protection bush (b, fi g.13)
- Pull the split pin as per picture 13 then screw the PL hub manually until it reaches the
end position.
- Tighten the PL hub by inserting the special PL key in the PL hub slot (fi g.14).
- Remove the split pin from the cylindrical protection bush.
If during the assembly phase the hub PL should freeze before completing the tightening
phase, proceed as follows:
- Make a complete turn in the opposite direction of the hub PL
- Remove the split pin b
- Push the hub PL in the direction shown in fi gure 14a and then tighten the hub until it stops.
IMPORTANT
During the tightening phase, check that the ratchets are always closed inside the locking
sleeve.
