HANDLING THE POWER SUPPLY
• Use the original power supply with the proper cable. Use it only when it is in perfect
condition. Use it only indoors.
• Make sure the connection values at your site are within the tolerated range.
• Position power supply and cable so that it does not cause any tripping hazard for you or for others.
Also make sure power supply and cable are never subject to mechanical stress.
• Make sure the power supply is never covered and has always sufficient ventilation during operation; to
prevent overheating. Allow the power supply to cool down before storing it after use.
• Always keep power supply and cable away from the following and other hazard sources: Moisture or
water, aggressive substances, flammable or explosive substances, heat sources, sharp edged or poin-
ted objects especially from metal, and similar.
• If the power supply shows signs of defects (e.g., unusual smell), disconnect it from the grid; if possible
without touching it: Switch off the fuse which supplies the relevant power outlet socket.
• Any repairs must only be made by qualified and authorized persons.
• An irreparable power supply must be disposed of as separate electric waste according to the local
rules.
