Using the Telephone
11 Star key
Function varies depending on situation: when a connection is present, switch between
pulse dialling and tone dialling (press for a short time), during text input, open the
special characters table

Switching the Handset On/Off

Switching on: On the switched-off handset, press
Switching off: When the switched-off handset is in an idle state, press
a long time.

Enabling/Disabling the Keypad Lock

The keypad lock prevents the telephone from operating unintentionally. If the
handset is secured with a PIN, you need that PIN to unlock it. When delivered,
the PIN is set to "0000".
Switching on: Press
Switching off: Press
PIN (if it is not 0000).
Note: If a call is signalled on the handset, the keypad lock is automatically
disabled. You can accept the call.
Caution: When the keypad lock is enabled, you cannot call emergency
phone numbers either.
