Connecting a Headset
Requirements

COMfortel 1600: a wired headset corresponding to the technical data listed

COMfortel 2600: a headset corresponding to the technical data listed on

Note: The COMfortel 2600 supports the operation of cable-connected
headsets as well as cordless headsets (headsets with a DHSG interface,
for example, from Auerswald, Jabra, or Plantronics).

COMfortel 2600 only: to connect a COMfortel headset from Auerswald or
another cable-connected headset, you require: an adapter (already
included in the scope of supply of COMfortel headsets).
Note: The adapter can be bought in the Internet shop distriCOM (see
www.districom.de). Delivery is provided only within Germany and Austria.
1.
Insert the headset connector into the socket labelled with
side of the telephone.
2.
Guide the cable to the outside using the corresponding cable channel.
Further Steps
–
COMfortel 2600 only: after commissioning, select the headset type that is
being used (in settings > headset > headset type).

In order to use the headset for calls, enable headset operation at the end of
commissioning (in functions > headset).
