Apart from this, the device does not need any servicing. The outside should only be cleaned with a soft, dry cloth or
a brush. Never use caustic cleaning agents or chemical solutions, as the surface of the housing may be damaged.

Replacing the remote control battery

Remove the battery if you do not use the device over a period of time.
Leaked or damaged batteries can burn your skin if touched. It is therefore advisable to use
suitable protective gloves.
Make sure that the battery is not short-circuited or thrown into fire. Do not recharge the battery.
There is danger of explosion.

An insulation pad is placed in the battery compartment of the remote control upon delivery which
prevents unwanted discharging of the battery during transport. This pad must be removed prior to initial
operation.
• If the remote control no longer functions properly, the battery is discharged and must be replaced with a battery
of the same type.
• Unlock the safety latch and pull out the battery holder on the backside of the remote control.
• Take out the discharged battery and put in a new 3V lithium CR2025 coin cell. The correct polarity is indicated
on the battery holder.
• Slide the battery holder back into the remote control. The safety latch must audibly snap into place.
