CD/MP3 mode

Playback/pause
Button 3/  (5) switches between pause and playback.
• Press this button to start playback.
• Press this button again to pause playback.
• Press this button again to resume playback where it was paused before.

Stop playback

Button 4/ (21) stops playback.
• Press this button to stop playback. The display (7) shows PRE STOP.
• If you want to continue playback where you pressed the stop button, press button 3/  (5).
• If you press button 4/ (21) again, the device will be set to the beginning of the CD.

Title search

Buttons 1/ | and 2/

The arrows on the buttons indicate the selection direction (up or down).
• Press the buttons shortly to jump to the next or previous track.

You can also directly select a title using the numeric buttons (34) on the remote control.
Search within a title
Buttons 6/ and 5/

The arrows on the buttons indicate the search direction (up or down).
• Press the buttons repeatedly to set the search speed.
• The display (7) will show the search speed (2x, 4x, 8x, 20x).
• To go back to normal playback, press button 3/  (5) or keep pressing the button until PLAY appears on the
display.

| (3 and 4) allow you to select an individual title.
(18 and 19) allow you to search within a CD title.
