DVD/VCD/MP4 mode

Playback
• Press the button (12) to open the front control panel. Insert a VCD/DVD into the VCD/DVD slot (25).

Always insert the VCD/DVD with the printed side up.
• If you have already inserted a VCD/DVD, press the MODE button (9) until the drive is activated.
• Should the inserted medium have a menu, it will be displayed automatically.

VCDs only have a menu if they have PBC (playback control).
• Use the arrow buttons (30) on the remote control to browse through DVD menus to select the desired menu item;
then press ENTER to select.
• To select a menu item on the VCD with PBC, use the numeric buttons (34) on the remote control.

The VCD menu will only be displayed if the PBC function is active. In case this function is inactive, you
can activate it by holding down the PBC/STOP button (31) on the remote control for a while.
• DVDs or VCDs without a menu or PBC will be played automatically.
Stop playback
• Press button 4/ (21) or the PBC/STOP button (31) on the remote control to stop playback. The device
remembers at what position playback was stopped.
• Press button 3/  (5) to resume playback at the position it was stopped at.
• Press button 4/ (21) or the PBC/STOP button (31) on the remote control again to completely stop playback.
