Removing and Replacing the Front Control Panel

The front control panel can be removed to prevent theft.
• Before you remove the front control panel, push the button /MUT (2) for a long time to turn the product off.
• Press the button (3) to unlatch the operating panel.
• Remove the front control panel and put it into the supplied protective cover.
• To attach the operating unit, insert the right side of the operating unit in the holder so that the latches at the right
edge catch in the guides at the operating unit. Then press the left side of the operating unit to latch it.
• Do not press on the display or the buttons.

Make sure to place the front operating unit on the device in the correct direction.
Do not press the front against the unit too hard. It can be easily attached by pressing it slightly against
the device at the left until it latches.
When you remove the front control panel, please put it into the supplied protective cover.

Installation in the Radio Slot

• Remove the two safety screws of the CD drive.
