OPTIONAL ACCESSORIES: WALL MOUNTING
Wall Bracket
1. Position the bracket on the wall or ceiling at a height
of at least 1,8 m. Make sure that the later has some
felxible movement.
2. Mark the drill holes according to the drill holes in the
plate and actually drill the holes.
3. With stone walls, use wall anchors or screws with do-
wels, with wooden walls you can do without dowels and
only use the screws.
4. Tighten the bolts / nuts firmly and carefully test the
stability by putting pressure on the attached strap.
Before installing, please check what material your
desired installation location consists of and whether it is stable.
Apartments in old buildings are almost always made of brick masonry and mounting on the wall is enti-
rely possible. Younger houses are made of brick masonry, aerated concrete or sand-lime brick and are
ideally suited for installation. There are restrictions on walls made of Poroton.
Installation is also be possible on suitable wooden beams and beams.
On Stone Walls
• If the installation site is made of stone, use the heavy-duty anchors. First pre-
drill with a smaller drill bit. Drill holes in the wall with a 10 mm drill bit and drive
in the wall anchors. Make sure that the anchor sleeves are flush with the wall
and that only the threaded pins are sticking out.
• You can also use the screws in combination with the dowels on stone walls.
Pre-drill the holes with a smaller drill and enlarge them to the size of the
dowels.
On Wooden Beams
• If you screw on wood, you can use the screws without the dowels.
• In order to prevent the wood from cracking or splintering and to countersink
the screw unhindered and firmly, it is also advisable to pre-drill in wood. Espe-
cially with large thread diameters or very hard wood. If you pre-drill too large in
wood, the screw may lose its hold.
• Wood: thread diameter 10 mm = max. 6-7 mm pilot hole!
Drilling depth: Approximately 1/2 - 2/3 of the length of the screw.
