6. Functional description
6.3.4 Tip ‑ Offset
As the soldering tips have different masses and
geometric forms, they have different tempera‑
ture characteristics.
The tip offset is used to adjust the temperature
measurement to the respectively used solder‑
ing tip or, in the case of temperature sensors,
to the type of thermocouple. The soldering tip
is adjusted with a number. As the station rec‑
ognizes the connected soldering tool automati‑
cally, the station is familiar with the complete
combination of soldering tool and tip when the
number has been selected. This way, the tem‑
perature measurement and closed‑loop control
can be adjusted in an optimal way.
The tip offset can be set from 1 to the maximum
possible limiting value (table on next page) of
the connected soldering tool.
If the Chip‑Tool is connected, [Tip Type]
will appear instead of the entry [Tip‑Off‑
set]. In that case, you can select the tip
type directly.

Funktionsbeschreibung
Spitzenoffset
Durch die unterschiedlichen Massen und geo‑
metrischen Formen der Lötspitzen (Tip) ist
deren Temperaturverhalten unterschiedlich.
Der Spitzenoffset dient dazu, die Temperatur‑
messung an die jeweils verwendete Lötspitze
anzupassen. Die Einstellung der verwendeten
Lötspitze erfolgt in Form einer Nummer. Da die
Station das angeschlossene Lötwerkzeug selb‑
ständig erkennt, ist der Station mit der Auswahl
dieser Nummer die komplette Kombination aus
Lötwerkzeug und Spitze bekannt. Auf diese
Weise können die Temperaturerfassung und
Regelung optimal angepasst werden.
Der Spitzenoffset kann von 1 bis zum maximal
möglichen Grenzwert (Tabelle nächste Seite)
des angeschlossenen Lötwerkzeuges einge‑
stellt werden.
Bei angeschlossenem Chip‑Tool er‑
scheint statt [Spitzenoffset] der Eintrag
[Spitzentyp]. In diesem Fall können Sie
den Spitzentyp direkt auswählen.
