6. Functional description

6.7 Replacing the soldering tip

Replace the soldering or desoldering tip when
they are worn.
Before replacing the soldering tip:
■ Switch off the station and let the solder‑
ing tip cool off.
Attention:
Only replace the tips when they are cold ‑
burn hazard!
When the tip has cooled off, proceed as follows:
i‑Tool
■ Loosen the soldering tip by turning the
knurled nut counter‑clockwise.
■ Pull the tip and the retainer off of the
heating element.

Funktionsbeschreibung
Lötspitzenwechsel
Wechseln Sie bei Verschleiß die Löt‑ bzw. Ent‑
lötspitze aus.
Vor dem Lötspitzenwechsel:
■ Die Station ausschalten und die Lötspit‑
ze abkühlen lassen.
Achtung:
Spitzen nur in kaltem Zustand wechseln ‑Ver‑
brennungsgefahr!
Ist die Lötspitze abgekühlt, gehen Sie wie folgt
vor:
i‑Tool
■ Die Lötspitze durch Linksdrehen der
Rändelmutter lösen
■ Die Lötspitze samt Halterung vom Heiz‑
körper abziehen.
