6. Functional description
6.3.1 i‑Set Tool
With the i‑Set Tool (option) it is possible to save
the settings (including password) of the station.
Also you can write back the saved settings into
the station. This way, the basic settings can be
transferred quickly to several soldering stations.
Please observe the i‑Set Tool´s manual for this
purpose.
How to use the i‑Set Tool:
■ Disconnect the soldering tool from the
soldering station and connect the i‑Set
Tool with the jack.
■ Turn the i‑OP and select the following:
Upload: The data of the station is writ‑
ten into the i‑Set Tool. Download: The
data of the i‑Set Tool is written into the
station. Then, push the i‑OP.
A confirmation prompt is displayed:
■ Select [Abort] to end the process or
[>>>] to continue.
■ Push the i‑OP; the settings will be
saved. Wait until the text [Parameter
saved] is displayed. Then, remove the i‑
Set Tool.

Funktionsbeschreibung
i‑Set Tool
Mit dem i Set Tool (Option) wird ermöglicht, die
Einstellungen (inclusive Passwort) der Station
zu speichern und wieder in die Station zurück‑
zuschreiben. Somit können Sie die Grundein‑
stellungen schnell auf mehrere Stationen über‑
tragen. Lesen Sie hierzu die Benutzeranleitung
zum i‑Set Tool.
So nutzen Sie das i‑Set Tool:
■ Das Lötwerkzeug von der Lötstati‑
on trennen und das i‑Set Tool mit der
Buchse verbinden
■ Den i‑OP drehen und folgendes aus‑
wählen: Upload: Die Daten der Station
werden in den i‑Set Tool
Download: Die Daten des i‑Set Tool
werden in die Station geschrieben. An‑
schließend den i‑OP drücken.
Es erfolgt eine Sicherheitsabfrage:
■ [Abbruch] wählen, um den Vorgang zu
beenden oder [>>>] wählen, um fortzu‑
fahren.
■ Den i‑OP drücken, die Einstellungen
werden gespeichert. Warten, bis der
Text [Parameter gesichert] in der Anzei‑
ge erscheint. Anschließend i‑Set Tool
entfernen.
