General Information
Spare Parts Orders
3.3.1
Spare parts orders must contain the following information:
– type of machine
– Barmag order number
– Barmag pump number when ordering pump-spare parts
– exact definition of the parts in accordance with the parts list numbering
– quantity
The machine type, pump number and order number are to be found on the pump housing resp. on the
drive unit (if delivered).

Only original Barmag parts are allowed to be used.
Storage of Machines or Machine Parts
3.3.2

General
In order to prevent corrosion and other damage in countries with tropical climates or high humidity and
widely fluctuating temperatures, it is essential that machines and machine components be stored in
rooms with an ambient temperature of 15 °C to 25 °C and a maximum relative air humidity of 60%.

Storage of the pump
If the assembled pump is to be stored, it must be filled with a heat-resistant silicone oil. Filling must be
done while slowly turning pinion shaft.
Subsequently, close the inlet and outlet bore with cover sheet (17). (See section 4.1.1)
In all cases, the drive shaft of pinion shaft (8) must be lightly greased with resin-free preservative oil or
a similar agent.
The same conditions as described above must be provided for machines that have already been
installed but have not yet been put into operation.
