Notes on Warning Signs and Plates

The safety guidelines are addressed to all individuals work­
ing on the line / machine during erection, start‐up, opera­
tion, or maintenance.
Please study the operating guidelines issued by your em­
ployer carefully and observe the following safety guidelines
and explanations.
Notes in the Operating Instructions
These Operating Instructions contain the following symbols,
warning words, and signs:

Danger!
This symbol calls attention to the safety guidelines specified
in the Operating Instructions and points out operating steps
during which health and safety hazards to individuals may
occur. Please follow these guidelines in order to prevent ac­
cidents.

Caution!
This is a warning sign in order to prevent damage to the
machine.
I
Information!
This symbol is a general note for proper operation of the
line / machine.
Warning plates on the machine
Plates may be affixed to the machine pointing out danger
areas where special caution is required, the plates at the
margin serving as examples of such warnings.

Please make sure that the warning plates are attached in
a clearly visible location on the machine and can be eas­
ily read.
