Danger!
If the following safety guidelines are not observed, this may
cause danger of life, danger of injury, or danger of consider
able physical damage!
Any work on electrical installations and devices may only be
performed by skilled electricians!
A skilled electrician is a person who, due to his/her special
ized apprenticeship, has the required knowledge and expe
rience, knows the appropriate standards and can judge the
work given to him/her. Furthermore, he/she can realize
possible danger situations.
He/she must know how to react in case of electric energy
accidents (first aid measures).
Before starting the work the person responsible for the per
formance of the work must make sure that the safety regu
lations are observed!
The appropriate national regulations for the operation of
power installations, must be observed!
All work may only be performed with professional insulated
tools.
Mind the warning signs! The warning signs must not be re
moved.
Prior to starting any work on electrical installations and de
vices the following safety rules must be adhered to:
1. Disconnect!
Disconnect all poles of the entire machine to be worked
on.
If electrical equipment is connected via plugs, switch
them off and then pull power plugs load‐free!
2. Secure against restarting!
3. Verify isolation from supply!
4. Ground and short‐circuit!
(applies to installations over 1000 V)
5. Cover live adjacent parts!
