CONTROLLER OPERATION
Switchover from solid fuel boiler or heat accumulator (B) to liquid fuel boiler (A)
Timer for activation of heat source starts to run when temperature of heat source B
drops below switchover temperature PT (point 3) and cannot cover heating demands.
Temperature difference between calculated heating temperature and temperature of
heat source B leads to earlier activations of heat source A and vice versa.
Setting of parameter S5.15 also affects on switchover delays.
Heat source A (point 4) is activated again after the delay time expires.
Diverting-valve switches to heat source A (point 5) when temperature of heat source A
for 6 °C exceeds temperature of heat source B.
DIVERT VALVE OPERATION BY SYSTEMS WITH
TWO HEAT SOURCES
An actuator with 2-point operation mode is used to control diverting valve. Return to
start position is done via spring or with constant power supply from network.
Dot on the hydraulic schemes indicates open path of the valve when the valve is in
starting position. It is advised to make installation in a way that the open path is on
solid fuel boiler or heat accumulator or supply pipe of liquid fuel boiler supply pipe by
scheme 421.
Inverted operation of output for diverting valve (R8) can be selected with parameter
S5.16=1. Such setting enables further installation possibilities of the diverting valve, as
shown on pictures below.
