CLUTCH CONTROL LEVER ADJUSTMENT
To adjust the clutch, it is necessary to change the cable
tension using the adjuster unit placed on the lever.
Move the rubber protection (1).

Loosen the locking ring nut (2).

Turn the adjuster (3) in the direction shown by the
-
arrow (A) to reduce the clearance, or in the direction
shown by the arrow (B) to increase it.
The free play (V) must be at least 10 mm (0.39 in.)
-
before starting disengaging the clutch.
The adjustment can also be carried out through the
tensioner (3) on the right side of the engine.
Loosen the nuts (4) and operate the tensioner (3).

If the clutch slips under load or drags in disengaged
-
position after play has been adjusted, it must be
taken apart for inspection.
