The relay of the associated output changes status when the
key is kept pressed longer than 5 seconds. All the keys of
all the transmitters entered in the receiver are automatically
provided with the anti-aggression function, independently of
their configuration, therefore there is no need to assign a key
(T1,T2,T3 or T4) to the output. Make reference to the specific
receiver instructions for further information.
6) Access control: function only available on certain receivers
(for ex. RTD-CA).
description: enter an identification name (max 15 characters)
for the current list.
receiver code: allows you to define the receiver code of the
current list, if this has been created for a CLONIX or RTD type
receiver.
The use of the receiver code allows you to:
· clone a transmitter by means of a code (see paragraph 8.1)
· create common receivers (see Clonix programming guide)
Note: Each code is made up of 10 figures in hexadecimal format
(thus, besides figures from 0 to 9, letters A-B-C-D-E-F can also
be used, for ex. 1A9C-22FD-00): the first eight characters repre-
sent the actual code, the last two figures represent the type of
receiver, collective or individual; if the last two figures are equal
to 00, it means that the receiver is preset for collective operation,
whereas if the last two figures are different from 00, it means that
the receiver is preset for individual operation.
Codes ending with FB, FC, FD, FE, FF as the last two characters
are not valid.
clone default:
Defines the association between the transmitter key and the receiver
output for the transmitters which will be subsequently cloned. The
receivers have no default key/output association setting.
Using this function, you can set the receiver with a particular
association. The transmitter clones which will be subsequently
cloned will keep this association.
This is particularly useful when creating common receivers.
To give and example, common receivers can be created with the
following characteristics:
·
A collective receiver (for ex. with receiver code 1A9C-22FD-
00) with key association T1- Output1
·
An individual receiver (with code 1A9C-22FD-01) with key
association T2- Output1- T3 Output2
Once a first transmitter (master) has been entered in the individual
receiver, it can be cloned to obtain transmitters characterised by
these associations:
T1 activates output 1 of the collective transmitter
T2 activates output 1 of the individual transmitter
T3 activates output 2 of the individual transmitter
Any other individual receivers will have a receiver code with the
last two figures in progressive order, in our example 1A9C-22FD-
02 1A9C-22FD-03 etc., and the Key/Output associations similar
to those mentioned above.
Make reference to the "Clonix programming guide" for further
information.
9) PROXIMA PROGRAMMER uPDATING
The manufacturer can make available updates of the software present
inside the PROXIMA programmer.
Should software updating of the PROXIMA device be required,
proceed as follows:
1) Check the PROXIMA software version currently installed on the
programmer by switching on the device.
Contact the manufacturer or an authorised service centre and
find out whether an update is actually needed.
INSTALLATION MANUAL
2) Open the programmer and, after ensuring that it is off, insert a
jumper on the JP18 connector (see Fig. 4).
3) Switch the programmer on and connect it to the PC using the
appropriate 9-pin serial cable or an USB cable (optional).
4) Start the updating software supplied by the manufacturer: "PRO-
XIMA Update.exe" and follow the instructions.
5) At the end, switch the programmer off, remove the jumper from the
JP18 connector and switch it back on. Check the software version
on the display to ascertain that programming was successfully
completed.
10) FuNCTION INDEX
PROXIMA is provided with a fast menu search function. With this
function, you just need to indicate the number of the menu to be
displayed to reach it without having to browse using the selection
keys. The list of the numbers referring to the menus which can be
reached by means of this function is given in table 1.
The descriptions and illustrations contained in the present ma-
nual are not binding. The Company reserves the right to make any
alterations deemed appropriate for the technical, manufacturing
and commercial improvement of the product, while leaving the
essential product features unchanged, at any time and without
undertaking to update the present publication.
