etc.). To configure a parameter, select menu Parameters using keys
"56", and press "ENTER":
>parameters
The display will show the list of parameters managed by the con-
trol unit connected. The title includes the name and version of the
firmware installed:
Libra-MA v 3.90

Open delay time
Cls. delay time
mot1 torque
............
select the parameter to be configured using keys "56", and press
"ENTER".
The display will show the menu related to the parameter chosen
with the indication of the current value. Use the keyboard to set the
new value or ENTER to confirm the value already set.
The programmer and the board configured exchange a few pieces
of information by means of the EElink protocol, and the parameter
is memorised.
If the parameter has been set at a value which is incompatible with
the board to be programmed, an error message is displayed and the
parameter is set at the default value predefined for that board.
Some of the parameters are indicated with the wording "Special
parameter": their meanings depends on the control unit, therefore
you are advised to refer to the relevant manual for their use.

ONFIGuRING A LOGIC
By logic we mean a configuration of the control unit operation mode.
The configuration of a logic basically coincides with the setting of
a dip switch.
From menu M1 CONTROL UNITS, select menu Logics and press
"ENTER":
>logics
The display will show the list of the logics of the control unit connected:

board configured exchange a few pieces of information by means of
the EElink protocol, and the logic is memorised. Some of the logics
are indicated with the wording "Special switch": their meanings de-
pends on the control unit, therefore you are advised to refer to the
relevant manual for their use.

ARRYING OuT SELF
Self-diagnosis indicates which of the board inputs to be checked are
in a situation different from their normal resting condition.
The resting condition is defined as the situation where no command
signal is active and no safety device has been triggered.
Select menu Self-diagnosis using keys "56", and press "ENTER":

By means of the EElink protocol, PROXIMA will send a command to
the control unit to be checked; this will carry out self-diagnosis and the
display will show a diagnostic message which will indicate whether all
the inputs are in their resting condition, or which of them are active.

EADING ThE STATISTICS
The statistics indicate some of the parameters available for checking
the type of system operation. Some of these statistics are updated
automatically, others must be updated during maintenance.
Select menu Statistics using keys "56", and press "ENTER":
>statistics
The display will show menu M14:
M14 STATISTICS
>board release

select the item which you wish to read or update, using keys "56",
and press "ENTER".
By means of the EElink protocol, PROXIMA will send a command
to the control unit connected; this will send the data and the display
will show a message to indicate the value requested.
Here follows a brief description of the statistics available.
Board version: the display indicates the name and version of the
board connected.
List description: the display shows the description assigned to
the system. This description can be entered or modified at any
time, simply by writing on the line of the display. To memorise the
description in the current list, press <ENTER>.
Number of manoeuvres: the display indicates the number of manoeuvres
that the control unit has carried out since the time of installation.
Maintenance manoeuvres: the display indicates the number of
manoeuvres intervened since the latest maintenance operation, i.e.
any board configuration operation, including the autotest.
Maintenance date: from the keyboard, you can enter manually the
date of the latest maintenance operation.
Update maintenance: this allows you to update the number of ma-
noeuvres since the latest maintenance operation, without carrying
out any other operations on the control unit.
Menu M147 "Advanced statistics" contains an additional list of sta-
tistics available. For their use or programming mode, consult the
control unit manual.
