4. Enter the rated motor power in kW from the motor
data plate for the following motor data.
4a. Set the rated motor voltage.
4b. Select Motor Frequency.
4c. Enter Motor Nominal Speed.
4d. Enter the rated motor current.
4e. Set the Current Limit equal to (Service Factor
Amps/Full Load Amps).
• For example, if the Motor Current (FLA) indicated
on the motor nameplate is 5.6A and the Motor
Service Factor Current (SFA) is 6.4A, enter 114%
for Current Limit (%). Be sure to properly set the
Motor Current (FLA) and Current Limit.
4f. Select Submersible for borehole application or
Surface for above ground motors.
4g. Enter the minimum limit for motor speed. The
motor speed low limit can be set to correspond to
the minimum output frequency of the motor shaft.
4h. Select correct filter type if you have installed a fil-
ter between drive and motor. Refer to the full manual
for details.
4i. Perform AMA (Automatic Motor Adaption) to de-
tect motor parameters for better efficiency and motor
control.
5. Select Yes to continue with Application Setup.
