Problem
The pulp is too
moist*

never make any repairs yourself if your appliance acts up! Send in your Champion to the importer (see
pg. 2) with an exact description of the malfunction.

Possible Reason
The food has been added into
the machine too quickly.
The screen (3, 4) must be
cleaned or replaced.
The cutter has become dull
and must be replaced.
The food to be juiced might
be old and dried out (i.e. from
winter storage).
You are putting the food into
the machine too slowly.
Cutter is dull and must be
replaced.
A seal on the motor housing
might be defective and has
become leaky.
These are grooves that are
conditional of manufacturing
and arise during casting.

Solution
Decrease the rate at which you add the food
down to a "medium" speed, and hold the
plunger down for approx. 2 seconds.
Clean the screen following the instructions on
page 37, or contact your Champion Service
Centre (see page 2).

It is possible that the bearings and motor are
damaged. Contact your Champion Service
Centre then send the appliance in for repair.
As long as the cutter has not been used,
these grooves are barely noticeable. The juice
discolours the cutter, and you can see the
grooves more easily. They will not get larger
nor will the cutter break.
