Storage and Transport
Storing the power tool (see figure M)
– Push the locking mechanism (11) to the left and hold it
there. Push the connecting rod (10) back as far as it will
go until the locking mechanism engages.
– Push the push stick (9) into the push stick storage (8) in-
tended for this purpose.
– If possible, place unused saw blades in an enclosed con-
tainer or in the accessories drawer (18) for transport.
– Push the additional stop (21) into the holder.
– Push the workpiece support (34) into one of the guide
grooves.
– Wrap the power cable around the cable holder (20).
Transporting the Power Tool
Only transport the power tool using the transport
u
devices – never use the protective guard or the slide
mechanism.
– Always carry the power tool using the transport handles
(7).

Maintenance and Cleaning
Pull the plug out of the socket before carrying out any

work on the power tool.
To ensure safe and efficient operation, always keep
u
the power tool and the ventilation slots clean.
In order to avoid safety hazards, if the power supply cord
needs to be replaced, this must be done by Bosch or by an
after-sales service centre that is authorised to repair Bosch
power tools.
Always remove dust and chips after working by blowing out
with compressed air or using a brush.
The protective guard (4) must always be able to move freely
and retract automatically. It is therefore important to keep
the area around the protective guard (4) clean at all times.

Keep the protective guard (4), saw blade (3) and SDS saw
blade receptacle (33) clean at all times. Remove dust and
chips by blowing out with compressed air or using a brush.
