Adjustment

8.5.1 Check the adjustment of the mechanical load limiting device
Risk of being injured by falling objects!

– The load limiting device may only be implemented by personnel trained and certified by Tractel.
– Observe the details in this instruction manual.
– Always abide by the details given in the order specifications for special versions.
The load limiting device has been set up to activate at a specific overload.
The maximum overload that has to be set up can be found in the applicable directives and standards (see 3.4).
The system manufacturer is responsible for determining and setting up the application dependent maximum overload.
The hoist's load limiting device has been set up in the factory to activate with a maximum permitted overload of 125% of the working
load limit.
Hoists fitted with mechanical load limiting devices cannot normally be set up to activate with an overload that is less than 90% of the
hoist's working load limit.
The maximum overload must be lifted in order to set the load limiting device.
Overload = working load limit + 25 %
