Foreseeable misuse

Guarantee and liability claims for personal injuries and equipment damage will be rejected if they can be traced back to one or more of
the following causes:
Unauthorized use of the product, the accessories or the carrying means belonging to the product

 Operating with a soiled wire rope
Operating without drive path limit switch (hoist for lifting)

 Use in potentially explosive or corrosive environments
Not adhering to the stipulated maintenance periods

 Cleaning with a high-pressure cleaner
 Incorrect installation, commissioning, operation, or maintenance
Working with an electrical connection that does not correspond to the details stipulated in this manual

 Poor monitoring of the parts and the accessories, which has resulted in wear occurring
Carrying out incorrect and unauthorized repairs

 Use of non-original spare parts
Alteration of safety component settings and safety functions

 Ignoring measurements and checks that would detect early signs of damage
 Product overloaded
Directly anchoring the load to the towing/suspension wire rope (wire rope without a thimble or hooks

 Accidents caused by foreign bodies or force majeure
Modifications made to the products or from the use of non-original parts that have not been authorized by the manufacturer.

 Never use faulty or damaged products, accessories, and suspension rigs.
Recommissioning following a SAFETY STOP without safety inspection.

 Loading the unloaded side of the hoist with more than 100 kg (e.g. via the wire rope pretensioning).
 Downwards travel by opening the brakes manually (only permitted in emergency).
Loading up to the load limit with greater travelling heights, due to the fact that the own weight of the cable that has to be carried

by the hoist increases with the increasing height.
