8. Measuring Values Recorded and Displayed

As standard, the sensors of the "Energy Control 3000" system transfer the data for energy
consumption (or consumed quantity with gas meters) and peak consumption during the last
measuring interval (5 minutes).
The "Energy Control 3000 USB" display unit processes these data and in principle provides
the following measuring values:
a) Consumption (Power)
Power [P], i.e. consumption, is shown in kilowatt (kW) or megawatt (MW) (only with sensors
for electrical energy).
The following values can be read:
• Value of last measuring interval (current value)
• Peak value of the last measuring interval
• Average value of the last hour, last day, last week, last month and last year since reset
• Peak values of the last hour, last day, last week, last month and last year since reset
In addition, an over-consumption alarm is implemented. If the power consumption of the
sensor displayed exceeds a specific user-defined alarm value, the device sounds an acoustic
alarm.

b) Energy/Volume

Energy [W] is shown in kilowatt hours (kW/h) or megawatt hours (MW/h) (only with sensors for
electrical energy). With volume meters (e.g. gas meters) the consumed volume (quantity) [V]
is displayed in cubic meters (m³).
The following values can be read:
• Value of last measuring interval (current value)
• Total value of the last hour, last day, last week, last month and last year since reset
• Energy consumption forecast:
If no (complete) data are available for the requested time period, a projection is calculated
based on the measuring values available up to now.
