7. Assembly/Installation

The assembly and the installation must be effected only if the solar
installation is in complete idle state. Observe the safety instructions!
• Select an appropriate assembly location that is easily accessible, e.g. in the proximity of
the inverter module.
• Remove the cover of the housing (unscrew 4 screws). Do not touch the electronics; do not
straighten any component or similar.
• The "ES-5" can be screwed on via the mounting holes in the corners of the housing. Use,
depending on the mounting location, appropriate screws and if necessary dowels.
When drilling/tightening screws, be careful not to damage any power supply
lines, gas or water pipes, as there may be life-threatening danger involved!
• Now run the connecting cables to the "ES-5"; take note of the following connection diagram
and the markings on the "ES-5".
