5. Functional Description

The "Energy Control 3000 USB" reception device is part of the "Energy Control 3000" device
system for recording energy consumption, energy costs and power consumption of electrical
devices as well as gas consumption.
Via radio-control, the device can receive data from up to 12 measuring sensors of type
"ES-1" (socket sensor), "ES-2" (electricity meter reading sensor), "ES-3" (top hat rail sensor),
"ES-4" (gas meter sensor) and "ES-5" (solar feed sensor), as well as calculate and display the
data for each sensor depending on the selection.
Functional overview:
• Current data display: Energy consumption, current consumption, peak consumption, gas
consumption quantity
• Display of current and forecasted costs for different time periods based on an adjustable
cost factor
• Automatic creation of consumption and cost forecasts for various time periods
• Calculation and display of average consumption
• Direct comparison between several consumption points
• Alarm when adjustable limits of power consumption are exceeded
• Integrated data logger with memory display, data recording up to 108 days (1 sensor; 12
sensors: 9 days)
