i) Configuration of Sensor Parameters

• For each sensor that supports these values or where it is meaningful, it is possible to set
an individual cost factor (CF), a meter constant (EC, revolutions of the meter disc per kWh,
value is indicated on your electric meter) as well as a consumption limit value (over-
consumption alarm, PA).
There are factory settings for these values already (see relevant chapter), which only need
to be changed if your individual values are different.
• The setting of the relevant value is adjusted in the upper display area A. In the lower display
area B, the parameter to be set is shown.
• These parameters should be set for the first time directly after the automatic synchroniza-
tion.
Please note!
Setting the EC meter constant is possible only with "ES-1". With other sensors,
this step is skipped.
With the "ES-4" gas meter sensor, only the cost factor can be set.
Set cost factor CF
The cost factor is used as the base for calculating the costs per unit consumed (Ct/kWh or
Ct/m³). Via this parameter, the device calculates the electricity or gas consumption costs
resulting from consumption separately for each sensor.
The cost factor is indicated in Ct/kWh (for electricity sensors) or in Ct/m³ (for gas sensors).
These values can usually be found in the electricity and gas bills.
