2. Prescribed Use

The solar feed sensor "ES-5" is a component of the "Energy Control 3000" system and is
specially developed for the recording of the power consumption of a photo-voltaic installation.
With the help of the "ES-5", output recordings in the measurement of direct current can be
carried out. It allows the direct recording of current, voltage and the resulting output of the
installation. The recorded values can be read either at the device itself or recorded and
evaluated with the help of one of the reception components of the "Energy Control 3000"
system (e.g. "Energy Control 3000 USB") per radio (868 MHz technology).
The product can only be used in dry interiors; it must not get damp or wet. No part of the product
can be modified or rebuilt.
Any use other than the one described above damages the product. Moreover, it involves
dangers such as e.g. short-circuit, fire, electric shock, etc. Furthermore, the guarantee/
warrantee thereby is nullified.
