1 Start GetPos by double-clicking on the file GetPos.exe.
When starting GetPos for the first time, the dialog window
GetPos Setup appears. Here, you can make all required settings,
in order to establish the connection between the PROFILER ST
and GetPos.
If the settings were already made, the dialog window GetPos
Setup no longer appears when starting GetPos. You can, how-
ever, adjust all settings any time over the Setup menu in the
menu bar.

NOTICE
Faulty data transmission and measurement from incorrect
configuration!
When configuring GetPos, you must enter the correct interface,
the correct number of measuring systems (axes) and, when
connected over the RS-232 interface, the baud rate selected on
the PROFILER ST.
