PROFILER ST
Function description: To set the
machine zero using a reference mark,
you must enable the reference signal
evaluation in the Encoder menu.

If the REF check box in the Encoder
menu is enabled for an axis, the status
display reference signal
to the left of the respective position
display.
Move your measuring setup to the
desired position before you enable the
function or switch on the PROFILER ST.
The machine zero is set with the first
reference mark, which you approach
after enabling the function or after
switching on the PROFILER ST.
If the reference mark is approached,
the status display reference signal
to the left of the respective position
display changes from white to green.
The following reference marks are
ignored.
Note: If your measuring system has
several reference marks, after switch-
ing on the PROFILER ST, be sure first to
approach the reference mark which you
used for configuration of the position
correction. Otherwise there can be no
proper position correction.
