3. Area of use (94/9/CE)
The round filter is designed and
tested to work in areas with po-
tentially explosive atmo-spheres
classified as zone 22 o 21.
Directive 94/9/CE defines
zone 22: the occasional pres-
ence of explosive atmosphere
in the form of combustible dust
clouds in extraordinary condi-
tions (exam-ple, breakdown) or
in ordinary conditions for a brief
period (example, vicinity of ma-
chines and equipment open for
main-tenance, deposits of pack-
ing materials or bags subject to
breakage).
For zone 21: area in which an
explosive atmosphere is occa-
sionally formed as a combusti-
ble dust cloud in the air during
normal activities.

Die Filter der Modellreihe WAM-
FLO ® ATEXfunktionieren unter
folgenden Betriebsbedingungen:

3. Einsatzbereich (94/9/EG)
Der Rundfilter wurde zum Ein-
satz in explosionsgefährdeten
Bereichen ausgelegt und getes-
tet, die als Zone 22 oder 21 ein-
geteilt sind.
Die Richtlinie 94/9/EG legt die
Zone 22 wie folgt fest: Be-
reich, in dem bei Normalbetrieb
eine explosionsfähige Atmos-
phäre in Form einer Wolke aus in
der Luft enthaltenem brennba-
ren Staub normalerweise nicht
(nur bei Störungen) oder aber nur
kurzzeitig (z.B. in der Nähe von
Maschinen und Geräten, die zur
Wartung geöffnet sind, Lager
von Packmaterialien und Sä-
cken, die zerreißen können) auf-
tritt."
Für Zone 21: Ist ein Bereich, in
dem sich bei Normalbetrieb ge-
legentlich eine gefährliche explo-
sionsfähige Atmosphäre in Form
einer Wolke aus in der Luft ent-
haltenem brennbaren Staub bil-
den kann.

przetestowany do pracy w œro-
dowisku wybuchowym sklasy-
fikowanym jako strefa 22 lub 21.
Dyrektywa 94/9/CE definiuje
strefê 22 w nastêpuj¹cy
sposób: „Obszar, w którym at-
mosfera wybuchowa w formie
³atwopalnych chmur py³u nor-
malnie nie wystêpuje (tylko w
przypadku awarii maszyny) lub
wystêpuje tylko przez krótki
czas (np. w pobli¿u maszyn i
urz¹dzeñ otwieranych w cela-
ch konserwacyjnych, w ma-
gazynach materia³ów opakowa-
niowych i worków, które mog¹
ulec pêkniêciu). "
Definicja strefy 21: „Obszar, w
którym podczas normalnej pracy
mo¿e okazjonalnie dochodziæ do
tworzenia siê niebezpiecznej
atmosfery wybuchowej w for-
mie ³atwopalnych chmur py³u."

3. Zona di impiego (94/9/CE)
Il filtro circolare è stato progetta-
to e testato per lavorare in aree
con atmosfera potenzialmente
esplosiva classificate come
zona 22 o 21.
La direttiva 94/9/CE definisce
zona 22: presenza occasionale
di atmosfera esplosiva sotto for-
ma di nube di polveri combustibili
in condizioni straordinarie (es.
guasto) o in condizioni ordinarie
per un breve periodo (es. vici-
nanze di macchine ed apparec-
chi aperti per manutenzione, de-
positi di imballaggi e di sacchi
soggetti a rottura).
Per zona 21: area in cui la for-
mazione di un'atmosfera esplo-
siva sottoforma di nube di pol-
vere combustibile nell'aria è pro-
babile che avvenga occasional-
mente durante le normali attività.
