8.4 Programming of Servings

1.
to enter programming mode, turn the main switch to the "Off" position; next, turn the switch to the
"ON" position, and when the word SEt is displayed, keep the continuous dispensing key of the first unit
pressed for 10 seconds (the display will show PRG).
2.
In this condition, the user will see all the keys lit and the continuous dispensing keys of each unit flashing.
Programming follows standard SM logic, in other words you touch the serving key and, when the serving
in the cup has reached the desired volume, you touch the same key to store the volume of coffee dispen-
sed up to that moment.
3.
If you wish to program the servings of all the other units "copying" the servings programmed on the first
keypad, simply press the continuous dispensing key of each dispensing unit once.
4.
Alternatively, after completing step 1, touch the slider to make the control unit "understand" that you
want to program by setting the value of cm³ directly.
5.
At this stage, the user should touch the key that requires programming and then, using the slider, adjust
the volume of water that needs to cross the fan when that particular key is pressed during use.
6.
the other keys are programmed in exactly the same way: by first touching the key you wish to program
and then setting the volume of water in cm³ (variable value of between 0 and 500 cm³), using the slider.
Every travel of the slider (from left to right) will increase the serving by 30 cm³ and, vice versa, every travel
from right to left will decrease the serving by 30 cm³.
7.
If you wish to copy servings on a unit, simply press the continuous serving key of the unit in question.
8.
to quit programming mode, as usual, simply press the continuous dispensing key of the first unit.

8.5 technical programming

If the continuous dispensing key of the first unit is pressed for a further 5 seconds, and consequently for
a total of 15 seconds, you will enter the functions programming mode; we strongly recommend that this
menu be accessed solely by the technician authorised to install and service the machine.
In this programming environment, the servings icons on the control panel will be turned off and the
display will show, in sequence, the codes f01, f02, f03 and f04 to select, respectively, the seconds
display during coffee dispensing ON-Off: for the ON configuration, assign the value 1 to the parameter
f01, for the Off configuration, assign the value 0.
The factory parameter preset mode, again with the same 0-1 logic, in particular 0 to not perform the
preset, 1 to perform the preset of all the factory assigned parameters.
The °C-°F display method.
The method of adjusting the "zero" of the temperature probe. The adjustment of this parameter will allow
the synchronisation of the pressure values indicated by the pressure gauge with the temperature values
read by the probe immerged in the boiler. both positive and negative values can be given to parameter
f04.
Confirmation and/or scrolling of parameters F01, F02, F03 and F04 will take place using the 3 keys at the
top on the keypad of the first unit. More specifically, the single short key to decrease the values shown
on the display, the single double key to increase the value shown on the display and the continuous di-
spensing key to move on to programming the next parameter, and therefore to go from f01 to ... f04.

9. Routine maintenance

• No panel or fixed guard of the frame may be removed from the machine to carry out the
routine maintenance.
• Do not use harsh or harmful detergents such as alcohol, petrol or solvents to clean the
coffee machine; use water and neutral detergents.
Note:
The daily cleaning operations must be carried out in order to maintain the efficiency of the machine and to
guarantee the safety of the user and of the persons around it.

9.1 Cleaning the serving units and the filter holder

1)
Detach the filter cup from the serving unit, remove the coffee grounds and replace the filter present with
the blind filter (without holes) provided with the machine.
