NOTES
The factory settings are the following:
- cycle duration: 2 hours.
- start delay compared to time "0": 40 minutes.
If no programming is performed, every 24 hours a 2 hour fi ltering
cycle is performed in any case, and will start 40 minutes after the
spa is turned on.
If there is a power outage, the data in the memory is saved, but
the time "0" will become the moment at which the electricity comes
back on. Therefore, it may be necessary to turn the main switch up
the line from the spa off and back on to re-align the cycle start delay
with the memorized parameters.
It is possible to vary the fi ltering cycle setting parameters at
any time by following the procedure provided at the beginning
of this chapter. By modifying these parameters, time "0" is
"shifted" to the time in which the new values are saved.
For example: if you set the value of "s" (start delay) to 8, the new
cycle will start 8 hours after the instant at which the new value is
saved. IT IS also possible to reduce to 0 the value of parameter "s": in
this case, the fi ltering cycle will start immediately.

Suspending the fi ltering cycles

The fi ltering cycle is suspended by activating the pump at
high speed and/or by turning on the spotlight. It will restart 40
minutes after the function is turned off , from the point at which
it was stopped. This means that if 1 hour remained in the cycle
when it was interrupted, when it restarts, it will continue for this
time and then stop.
The fi ltering cycle may be suspended by the anti-freeze pro-
tection ("Smart Winter") or due to overheated water. Refer to the
respective chapters.
If the system is in standby mode (see related chapter), the fi l-
tering pump stops and is restarted when the system is no longer
in standby mode.

Overheating during fi ltering cycles

During the fi ltering cycle, if the water temperature exceeds
the set point by more than 1 °C (2 °F) (see the chapter "Setting the
water heating temperature") and it does not decrease at least 1 °C
(2 °F) in the following 3 hours, the cycle will be suspended until
the temperature does not decrease by at least 1 °C (2 °F) below
the set point value.
Even if the water temperature is high (due to excessive sunlight,
for example), fi ltering is ensured for at least 3 hours.
Ozone generator (ozonator, optional).
The ozone generator aids in oxidizing the organic substances
that get in the water, and therefore reduces the need for chemical
products for water treatment.
The ozonator runs automatically and depends on the activa-
tion of the pump (at low speed) during the fi ltering cycle. It will
be off if the hydromassage or even one spotlight is on. This is
because there is probably a person in the tub. Forty (40) minutes
after the functions are shut off , the ozonator begins operating
again, provided a fi ltering cycle is active.

Rapid Filtering ("Boost")

This is recommended after intensive use of the spa and/or is as-
sociated with chemical treatment of the water, to favour the disso-
lution of substances used for disinfection.
To activate this function, press and hold down the "Pump"
key for 5 seconds. The display will show the message boo.
This function lasts 45 minutes (this value cannot be modifi ed)
during which the pump is run at high speed, at the same time as
the ozonator (if included).
NOTE: If the heater is on, it will continue to run normally, unless the
system is confi gured for limitation of electrical consumption.
The function stops:
- when the aforementioned time expires
- when another function is activated.
NOTE: if you need to activate the anti-freeze protection during ra-
pid fi ltering, rapid fi ltering will be stopped to allow the anti-freeze
protection to be started.

Hydromassage activation

Press the key "Pump"
ed; the respective LED will fl ash. Press it again to go to high spe-
ed (the LED will be on and steady).
Press the button a third time to shut down the pump (the LED
turns off ).
NOTES
If the pump is activated via the button (at low and high speeds),
it will automatically shut off after 20 minutes unless turned off ear-
lier by the user.
Note that when the pump starts automatically at low speed (such
as during a fi ltering cycle or when heating the water), it can not be
shut off from the display. It can however be set to high speed by
pressing the appropriate button.
When the pump operates at high speed, cascade dispensing is
automatically activated, located on the wall of the tub. When the
pump is turned off , or is running at low speed, dispensing is inter-
rupted.
Blower activation
Press the key "Blower"
(the LED comes on).
The blower can be activated simultaneously, or separately, from
the hydromassage pump (when the system comes on, the blower is
always off ).
The blower stays on for 20 minutes. It can be shut off before that
by pressing the key again.
