Standard skimming/heating modes
I
Standard skimming/heating modes are typically selected by
customers in cold climates where heatup times are extended due
to lower ambient temperatures. In this way, the water tempera-
ture is controlled by the set temperature, which activates the
heater when necessary.
Economy skimming/heating modes
I
Economy skimming/heating modes are typically selected by
customers in warm climates where heatup times are minimized
due to higher ambient temperatures. In this mode, the water
temperature is regulated by the set temperature only while a pro-
grammed filtering/heating cycle is running (unless in summer
mode; see note below).
N.B.: this mode consumes less energy than the standard mode
outlined above.
Economy skimming/heating modes
I
Press the MODE button to select either "Standard" or "Econ-
omy" skimming/heating mode: the indicator on the right side of
the control panel changes to indicate which mode is selected.
I
When an automatic skimming/heating cycle activates, the L-
CD screen displays the following message:
1*
*
: the number shown depends on which filtering cycle is pro-
grammed.
"Summer" mode
In warm weather, the water temperature in the hot tub may exceed
the set temperature. This condition may occur due to heat trans-
ference from the main pump and circulation pump.
If the water temperature is higher than 35°C and rises two degrees
above the set temperature, a "Summer Logic" condition occurs that
deactivates the circulation pump and ozonator (if equipped).
I
The circulation pump and ozonator will remain off until the wa-
ter temperature cools to the set temperature (except when the
circulation pumps runs for its mandatory 2-hour "clean-up" cycle).
